1. Update your Curriculum Vitae
2. Formulate a statement of interest. This needs to be different for every employer or conference.
3. Write letters of support
4. Compose press releases and photo opportunities
5. Discuss and write about what they hope to accomplish and their personal philosophies on life.
6. Create brochures, flyers, online advertisements (through social media)
7. Perform a nuance search
8. Think about solutions to the problem by contacting all levels of government if applicable
